(95 Islander). Iam looking at purchasing a Garmin CHIRP Downvu system. Having a notched transom, I am concerned about getting a clean signal. Is anyone else running a transom mounted transducer and how well does it function? Current system is a thru-hull tri-ducer. (Furuno)
On a second note, if you are running a CHIRP, is it worth it? Demo units appear spectaclar, don't know how real world results will be. Thanks
