OK now that I have my battery situation back in order, on to the other issues.
I thought I'd let you know a few tips about my Fishcer Panda 4+ genny on my 2007 Marlin 300 that the great technician at FP told me about.
1) This FP 4+ series doesn't charge it's own battery. Whether you agree with this setup or not, your boat battery charger needs to stay in ON position or it will self drain and shut itself down (at about the 2.5 hour mark, in my experience....).
2) The 25A fuse on the starting/fuel relay harness is not the only fuse that powers the start panel. There's also a fuse that looks like a pencil eraser on the back of the panel. Doesn't look like a normal fuse.
I'll continue to troubleshoot and if I learn anything else I'll post.
