For anyone with the older sailfish 25 and 4 stroke 150s what props have you run and how did they preform. At $400 per I cant affor a lot of trial and error. My honda 150s have stainless 14-1/2x15. Havnt run the boat enough to know if they are performing well.

We have Yamaha F150s on our 270 Islander and run PowerTech 15.25" x 16" pitch. This was a change from the 13.75" x 17" pitch props that were put on when we repowered and they provided a definite improvement.

You are trying to push a heavier, wider hull with low HP, and you will need both good diameter and low enough pitch to not overload the engines. If your engines can make full-rated RPM now with a lightly loaded boat, then you might as well stick with them.
