I'm replacing the hinges on the boat and having a fit finding the T nut fasteners. They are tiny and work with the 6-32 1/2 inch flathead screws. I can't find them anywhere online or otherwise. The one place I haven't tried is the Grady dealer. Might they have such an item?

Anyone know where I could score some?

Thanks - SJ

Thanks for the response and the link CatTwentyTwo. Those are close and they are called weld nuts sometimes or prongless T nuts but these are smaller and the threaded part is shorter than anything I've seen. I can't believe I can't find them.

These have a base diameter of 6 cm and a height of 4 cm.

Anyone who finds them gets a shiny nickel. I realize I can just use some other fastener but now it's become a challenge. A quest.

Surely the local Grady dealer has them ....

Well Nancy (she knows her stuff) at the local Grady dealer opened a few drawers behind the register and found some. She is so helpful and I'm not even spending any real money in there. Yet.

Makes a man feel good about his investment.
