Friends,

Our Escape 209 comes with tackle storage underneath the seat but none of the Plano (etc) plastic I've researched comes close fitting in the slotted spaces provided.

Did Grady manufacture tackle boxes or trays that were meant to fit in these spaces?

It is built to hold 2 boxes that are 2x9x12 inches and one that is 5x11x12.

Space is at a premium and any help would be much appreciated before the warm weather brings the Dolphin into our range.

And we have no idea why Black Sea Bass are endangered in South Carolina because we had over a hundred practically jumping into the boat last weekend ....It makes no sense.

I found tackle trays at Walmart for my '03 300 Marlin - short money. Bring your ruler. I ended up with Flambeau /Zerust boxes but you could also use Plano.

Good luck

Thanks. I've already been to the Flambeau website and they have common sizes with Plano and the others that would not fit very well. Not even close.

I'm not afraid of shoving trays in there that don't fit so that I can use the space, I just wonder what Grady was thinking.
