I took off last week so I didn't get to read/respond so I apologize for starting a thread and then disappearring.
I do use an electric heater at the dock and will probably go with a propane heater designed for camping with a low oxygen cut off. Up on the helm with the middle canvas unzipped and the forward hatch cracked should be safe.
I do miss my genny though....just crank it up and plug in all the heaters you want
