Does anyone have any suggestions on vinyl repairs for small cuts or tears? My affected areas are in seats and bolsters that are not easily removed so I'd prefer to try to repair it myself.

I've had surprisingly good luck with VLP Vinyl Repair over the years. I would call this an 85% "cosmetic" repair. Clean the vinyl with alcohol -- some for you, some for the vinyl :) -- kidding, of course! Use rubbing alchol for the vinyl and the good stuff for you! :) If needed, use thin strips of masking tape to pull the tear together in one or two spots without creating a wrinkle. Glue the other areas and let it dry... then remove the tape and finish glueing. If needed, you can use some clear vinyl as a patch.

I was impressed with the Permatex brand of vinyl repair. It even has a variety of finishes to match the original. The key is getting the color match but repair itself is very durable.
