    fuel tank leak in overnighter

I agree.. once you get the old one out- may as well put a new one in. I had a new one fabricated and put it in my self. The new tank was around $500 and with supplies probably around $650. There's plenty of posts here on the topic.. and folks that have done it.

Blocked off transom wanderer200. I'm interested in your 'hack job' of the blocked off transom.. I recently repowered a 25" transom with a 30" shaft and the mechanic kept mentioning how folks blocked off the transom with starboard.. I couldn't see the pic you posted.. I'm interested...

    Gen. Deck Repair ?'s

Cool, this is good stuff.. the small repaired section looks to have been glassed over, and yes the floor is textured, not sure if it's diamonds. I have no real access to the below area, next to it is the bulkheads for the gas tank.. and aft of it on the floor (more in the center of the...

    Gen. Deck Repair ?'s

My situation: I have an older grady that had a lounge on the port side that had been replaced by a captain chair.. I noticed that there is still screw holes in the deck and there's evidence of some sort of repair under where the seat was, a 6"x 10" section. Currently the port seat...

How is the construction on 1977 - 1981 also I/O or Outboard?

I have a 1977 Dolphin with OB motor.. and agree it's been quite a project that's for sure.. if only I knew what I'd be putting into it.. I would have spent the money for a newer/younger project... :)

    trim stuck - need help

this recently happened to me.... there's supposed to be a screw on the right-side bracket when looking from behind the boat, look at the bracket from the side... you can loosen the screw and manually raise/trim the motor, and loosen/lock the engine in place via some mechanism.. that I never got...

Fuel Tank replacement on 1986 Offshore 240

I also went with Atlantic (speedy tanks) last year to replace a 50 gal tank- I have no complaints either.. Was around $500, whatever company you go with should be able to provide whatever tubes you need, as well as any neoprene, which is extra $$. Got the original drawings for my '77 dolphin...
