Where did you obtain another chase tube?

I am looking to convert the older electronics box on the helm to accept my VX 2. Anyone have experience with this?

Trying to mount a Furuno heading sensor on my 91 Gulfstream. Can't find a good spot. Can't find a way to route cable to area next to upper radio box from any lower location. Anyone have any experience with this?

I just mounted the same AFI horn on my Gulfstream. My issue is one trumper works fine (either one) when hooked up. When I hook the other one up the horn stops working. Did anyone else have any issues wiring it up? I know there is no positive or negative on the horns and they are supposeably...

Just did mine last week. took me about 2 hours. Got the kit from ebay for $100 including the spanner wrench. Mine was the one that you replaced both glands on either side. One side was frozen but I managed to get it off with a breaker bar. Bled out the system at the helm with the filler hose...

Ok, I finally completed it. Over the winter had custom replacement pulpit made. Purchased new windlass and all hardware. Took three days to complete installation last week. Had a separate windlass pad made up to match windlass. Sealed anchor hatch down but split it first to have access. Pulpit...

Thanks again for the info. I'll start looking at the profish 700 then I guess. I have to add two bow cleats as well because I'm eliminating the one on the pulpit.

Hey RobertH, how was it to add the cleats on the bow? Did you back them up underneath with anything?

Hey Billfish, What windlass are you using on your Gulfstream? Any pics of the setup? I have a 91 Gulfstream and want toadd a windlass. Did you have to add bow cleats after removing the one on the pulpit?

Thinking of putting a windlass on my 1991 Gulfstream. Anyone have a similiar application with success. Which windlass did you use? Thinking of the Lewmar V700. I heard from someone that my boat doesn't have enough room in the rope locker. Not enough downward scope for it to work right.
