i have a 205 2006 with 150 yamaha we love the boat have a 208 prior to this we boat out of chatham ma. i'll pick the days but we have taken it to nantucket and fish around monomy rips etc as well as the local beaches ...never been on a 228 but in looking at them they seem to be a 205/208 hull...

on my 1997 208 i had a plastic tank...on my 2006 205 it has an aluminum tank ....i always thought the plastic tank was better...why would grady use a plastic tank on one model and the same hull use an aluminum tank?

thats the reason i asked..a dockmate has a GW 205 bowrider...and they come with the supports plus it looks like it would be easier to fold the top back instead of leaning it foward thanks

the measurement of the size of a boat seems to differ from marina to marina and manufacturer to manufacturer....I was orignally told they based it on the registration and title...which follows the manufactures paper work...the manufacture doesnt include the PB in their measurements...fun...

If I have to remove my pulpit due to dock regulations where I am..is there a way I can replace it with an anchor roller therefore still utlizing the windass etc?...does anyone have a photo? thanks Kevin

im having the same problem..i've already bent 2 wheel pullers (they where in exepensive ones) the problem i have is finding the right puller that will fit behind the destroyer wheel...you might want to try a spray lubricant and let it soak in...and maybe heat...other treads suggest getting a...

thanks...long story...association board member okayed the buying of a grady white 208 there are 3 others at the marina..he never mentioned the pulpit thing...fast forward boat bought and sitting in driveway for 2 months, they cashed my check over a month ago along with form that only talks about...

can you post some pictures...sometimes the manufacturer will leave a string or additional wire that can be used to pull through the new wires...if not you may need to tie and tape (black electrical tape works best) a couple of wires to an existing wire and pull it through, use one of those wires...
