Try this on a leaking bracket. Find a barbed fitting that fits the drain, add hose and a female garden hose fitting. Take out a couple of the screws on the inspection plate, turn on the hose gently and be patient. Any leak(s) should start to seep so you know where to start. If the bracket...

I had an '86 225 with 225 Honda. Over several years and 500 hours, my overall fuel average was 2.85 mpg. That includes many, many hours of slow trolling, many, many hours at 4200 cruising, very few hours above that, and everything in between. I doubt your 200 2-banger will do as well ...

Any shop that does auto glass should be able to help you with replacement. You may be on your own with R & R ...

While you're testing, look at the plate when at cruise speed or higher. It should be just slightly above the water, but still getting splashed. That's the important part, too low and you drag. Too high and you ventilate (lose traction) ...

Flushing every use is the lawyers talking, but as with most other maintenance topics, your mileage (and definition of "use") will vary. It's 'why the hell not' talking. There's two things that could happen - nothing, or it helps keep the corrosion down. Pretty good odds ...

I use two (2) AGM batteries, and I run all day on the same one. Both batteries will start the engine, and both will absorb 'house' loads, one is in use and one is a charged 'back-up'. Buy the largest batts that will fit the space available. Never heard anyone complain of having too much batt...

I think your dealer didn't do you any favors, trailer is one size short. The weight rating might be OK, but the rest is suspect. I want my bunks to extend all the way to the transom, for max support; a few inches might or might not make any difference. I want the tongue set up conventionally...

'Rule of thumb' is vent very slightly above the water surface at speed, but getting splashed. Sometimes you can go a hole or two higher, depending on boat, and you'll know when you're too high ... :wink:
