Kicker questions for 2005 Escape 209

We have decided to put a kicker on our 2005 Escape 209. Either a Suzuki or Yamaha high thrust 9.9. We want a fixed bracket without question for offshore beating. We have looked at the Salt Boss and the Adventure Marine. If anyone has a kicker on their Grady … I have a few questions. Do these...

Good Question. I'm sure this one is close to it. I know he wants to sell it too.

First trip offshore of the year ...05/11/14

Ran 45 miles out for a troll at 5am. Lost more than we landed but we'll take it. Came back around 12:00. Back in plenty of time for Mothers Day activities. Boat handled like a battleship. Tight and only got pounded a couple of times.

    SS Drink Holder Upgrade

I wish those cup holders would fit my Escape. That's a great deal. My cutouts are for the smaller 2 7/8" variety. Hopefully I can find some from the same company with those dimensions. SJ

First offshore trip with Escape 209

Took the "EL Dorado" 45 miles out to the ledge Memorial Day in 2-4 foot seas winds variable less than 10 kt. Fishing was slow, but we caught a few Dolphin and had a blast. Boat performed like a dream. SJ

    those with 209 escapes

Yes that plywood shelf is for the freshwater tank. If you do not have that option, there is no reason why you could not use that space, especially since storage is an issue on our 209's. And that space drains into bilge all day long. SJ

    Sea Tow MMSI Login Fail

Yes they sent the email with the confirmation and number back when I registered. Corporate did pick up the phone but had a generic answer that shed no new light on the the downed site. At this point its just an exercise in seeing if they will ever respond to my emails. I've emailed multiple...
