Just realized this is an old post but i guess maybe a year later you are debating to repower still. I have a 4 stroke on my 222 and it is awesome but very heavy. I have noticed more stress cracks in this boat near the transom than when i had the same rig. i'm not sure if i would put the 4stroke...
