Purchased a GW Freedom 255 w/trailer in Northern Michigan for use there and would like transported to Marco Island to use in March/April. Having issues finding a local marina to receive the boat and store on trailer till I pick it up in March. Need a haul company that has a marina relationship that I can ship to that will launch + keep the trailer till its ready to ship back to Michigan.
Hey Jim, I am located in New York and interested. How much are you asking? Where is cover located? Thanks...
Saw your post on the Grady 330 Express. Where you able to install the 12 inch Fusion 3 series amp? Where did you wind up mounting it? How about the monoblock amp?

We never did end up putting it in but I've been looking still. Fusion now has 5 and 6 channel amps which can power 2 sets of speakers and sub. If I do anything, it will likely be that setup. I've contemplated where the amp will go and think the best place would be in the storage under the sink or near the AC unit under the stairs. Sorry I can't be of much help here.

I am thinking about the 12 inch sub and the monoblock AMP to connect to the 4th channel that is available ( the other 3 drive the 3 sets of speakers). Maybe the sace behind the Screens. Seems like there is nothing underneath...
I am interested in adding a suzuki 20 kicker to my 265. Any issues with listing or scuppers ?
Mine is an 02 with factory 4 strokes. Also do you have any pictures of the bobs machine mount installed anything about the install you would do differently?

thanks

Good evening, sorry for the late reply. It should be on the starboard side of the boat. Lift the back seat up and there should be a long steel rod attached to the valve. I think you push it down to close it. (Could be the other way.). That is where mine is. What year is your 228?
Just bought a2011 225 freedom in august with a 250yamaha. My 1st Grady love the ride looking to have a windlass installed ,getting to old to keep pulling the anchor every time we move! Probably going to update the gps & sonar it has an furuno on it now & I haven’t used it much yet but it’s probably outdated compared to all the newer models.I’ll keep it through the 24 season & see how it does & then decide.
hey Hookup1 I posted on the Grady owners page on FB about replacing my tank and hatch repair, you sent me here, would you be able to link me to your posts you told me about, thanks!

I don't have a specific how-to for repairing the hatch. On GG go to search > tools > advanced and search coosa and hookup1 as look at different posts. If you have something specific you can PM me or just "reply" to any of the posts and I'll put the answer up on the board.
Hi I had the same problem and when I opened up the trim and tilt cylinders I found that someone had tried to do work on it before me. The unit was missing o rings and there wer seals and o rings in the wrong place. I replaced the missing parts and removed the incorrectly located parts and it works finr. This was on a 2005 f225. Not hard to work on but get the parts diagram.
Hey, just sent you a message on the Hull Truth forum. I'd recommend giving Dan Diebes a call at the Pensacola MarineMax. My discount was $25K off MSRP. Plus I negotiated painting the engine free (about $5K option) and they put in underwater lights (the wife really wanted those). Tell Dan Phil Jackson sent you.....
