Water dripping in at planing speed

Thanks for the response. I don't think this is the issue for in my case. I don't have any fresh water supply to the windshield wipers. I really appreciate the input

Water dripping in at planing speed

Thanks very much for the response. I will double check but as I inspected it yesterday I saw no evidence of water dripping from above. Definitely plan on double checking that. I appreciate the input.

Water dripping in at planing speed

I have a 1989 Overnighter 20. Yesterday I had this issue crop up. Happened once earlier in the season, but I've gone out several times when it hasn't happened. I haven't had a chance to really investigate on my own in depth yet, but I thought I'd describe it here to see if I can get any...

I haven't been on here for a while. Maybe I could find this answer in a prior post, so my apologies if this is repetitive. I have an '89 Overnighter. I'm looking for to replace the light pole and a hinge on the lid to the live well. Any tips for where I might be able to find these? Thanks...

All great tips/suggestions. Much appreciated. May not be related to the re-power. Exploring all possibilities. Going to do some more investigating myself but may end up taking it in to be looked at. Would like to have resolved going into September - some of the best boating weather...

    Water in Bilge /recently repowered

Thanks for those suggestions. The auto-bilge is working - that's one piece of good news. But after that runs there is always some remaining water that I clear out by running bilge "manually". I will look at some of the other things you mentioned. Thanks very much.

Water level - scuppers - new engine

I may be better off posting this as a brand new thread but I figured I’d start here. Quick recap- I have 1989 Overnighter 20. Repowered with a new 200 hp Suzuki for this season. (Replacing 1989 Yamaha 175). Thought I had been pretty thorough in my research. Talked to a few people and...

Water level - scuppers - new engine

Thanks for that information. Thought I had been pretty thorough with my research before re-powering, but now I feel like I could have covered more bases. I've seen my same motor (Suzuki 200) on same or similar boat and it didn't seem to be a problem. The new 4 strokes all seem pretty...
