My uncle had a 208 with the F200 and once he put the hard top on we both thought it was under powered. Prior it was ok but I can't imagine running an F150.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I used Marine Tex to fill some gouges on my topside and it worked quite well. Sands pretty easy as long as you get to it shortly after it dries. That stuff dries hard. If you are planning on re-painting this is probably your easiest/cheapest fix.

I would check out the Nissan Titan. It has a 5.7L V8 and tows awesome! You won't average much more than what you are getting in your Silverado.

According to the 1986 brochure my 190 Tournament weighs 2075 lbs. I have a 2 stroke 150 and it's more than adequate. I was able to hold 34.6 knots in calm water with little trouble. I did not try towing water toys but I'm sure it would be fine. With that said the 4-stroke motors are a lot...

Sorry can't help with the Journey but I've spoken with Dirk at Taylor Marine about this boat. http://www.taylormarinecenter.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=inventory.browseone&id=6766 He said it's in great shape. Unfortunately it's just a bit too much boat for me right now.
