Hi there, looking to down size to more of a family boat. I like the 192 freedom since it will fit on the dock behind my house. My concern is in bumpy seas, I normally stand up and lean. The freedom looks like you can't stand and the helm is pretty far forward. Any insight is much appreciated.

Having owned several Grady's the hull fit and finish is really good. Currently own a 2014 230 Fisherman. I don't think the add on are what the used to be. The swim platform ladder has rusted shut and the replacement is showing the same issue. The canvas is of lower quality that the old days...

The dealer said this is not the first complaint and Grady is replacing ladders. There is different grades of stainless and some hold up better in saltwater. Two months seems to be on the low side. I have it replaced in the spring when they fix the other issues.

Thanks for the input on rusting issue. I have to say i am disappointed with the new boat and will have to lower my expectation around the quality. I have owned Whalers for years and never had any of the these kind of issues with that product line. Guess it's time to start replacing the items...

We are are out of Niantic, CT. I am downsizing to a smaller boat and was wondering about the capabilities of my new boat. (230 fisherman) Not sure, if we will be fishing offshore that much, just wondering.
