Only seems to happen when running 15-20 knots in mixed /bumpy seas. If it's flat calm and we run 25 knots we have no problem. Seems to be an issue with the air/water flow when it's rough out. The intake isn't clogged.

Yes. Showed empty when we purchased then full after we used/tested system multiple times after replacing the first pump. Now shows empty again after we pumped out tank.

I wouldn’t consider a 250 unless you got a crazy good deal. She will run way better with a newer 300. Finding one is another problem however. Great boat. Good luck!

We are buying a 2009 Marlin that doesn’t have a gen. I’m glad it doesn’t. More room in the bilge without it and no need for a diesel tank on the boat. The Honda portable ones are so good and inexpensive compared to a marine generator. No need for AC in So Cal which is also a big factor.

We towed our gulfstream with a 6 cylinder Toyota 4Runner many times. Only the 2 miles from ramp to house a couple times annually for service and deep cleaning. Wouldn’t suggest it for any lengthy drive at speed. Jeep should be ok.
