How do I get my release handle by the rub rail? Thinking of cutting the rubber out and putting a piece of plastic 1” underneath mounting plate for extra clearance ideas??????

I have a 1986 204c and would like to install a Panther bracket. What can I do with the rub rail preventing me to disengage and push the motor down. Thinking of cutting the rail or getting a 1” piece of plastic to give me space. Ideas?????

This has like 6 wires off the switch plugged into different wires. Afraid to tackle this

Have a 1986 Overnighter. The key pulls out when engine running and last summer couldn’t turn engine off with key. Pulled main panel off and lots of wires. My owners manual does not give a schematic and I’m afraid to tackle this project. Granted the turn engine off problem only happened once...

Wondering what size kicker to put on my 86 overnighter. Trolling mainly maybe someday on Lake Michigan.

I opened the dash of my 1986 Overnighter to find a lot of wiring insulation chewed by mice probably. Everything works with exception of hour meter. Suggestions? Not sure if it’s over my head to replace this, and is there wiring harnesses available. It’s a spaghetti mess.

Found the source of leak was the access compartment at the transom. There was a hole or breaking the seal allowing water to go into the bilge. Filled the bilge with water no leaks at the brass thru hull fitting and checked the bilge pump which worked well. Will keep bilge switch on when out...

Thanks for the input Bob, I am going to put some water in bilge with drain plug in and check the seal around the thru hull fitting on the bottom of the boat for leakage. Take appropriate action from there. If it does leak I will have a dealer do it. Too much to risk! Anyone have any other...
