Mine is a 1995. Original motors were 200 2 stroke Yamaha. I have 2021 150 4 stroke now. The oil pan fairings have ripped open twice. Just curious if those flanges might have anything to do with it

Aloha, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what this flange is for on my 25 ft sailfish. This boat originally came with 200hp Yamaha, but I repowered with 150 Suzuki. The fairings on the Suzuki bend split open twice so I am wondering if this is something specific to Yamaha

Aloha, I recently purchased a 1990 sailfish. This boat has twin 200 L200ETXD yamaha 2 stroke engines. I am going to repower it but I was wondering if anyone knows if twin 150's would be sufficient? I live in Hawaii and this boat will be used mostly for fishing and diving. I dont see the need...
