    I would try a power washer. I'm always blowing my decals off when power washing the boat. Even when trying to stay away from them.

    They have a 12v AC units. Mabrustore.com With 12v you can have AC while underway.

    Rebedding bow rail mounts on a 1996 268 Islander

    I have a 1996 Islander 268. I want to rebed the bow railing mounts. I can't see how to get access to the nuts underneath the aft 3 mounts on both sides. Has anyone ever done this?

    New to me boat

    I bought my 1996 Islander May of last year. The surveyor noted the same thing on my stringers. He said don't remove the stringer and replace it. Because what ever resin you use it would not make as good as the original, when it was made. He recommend to use aluminum angle and 3M 5200.
