Hello out there- Looking at possible purchase of Marlin 300 and then long tow to west coast. Anyone have experience with a long tow of a 10'7" beam boat? Yeah, have to get permits for each state, that's understood. It would be on a new trailer and have a one-ton diesel truck for towing...

Hello- Anybody have experience with yam f250 xca? looking at possible repower on existing sailfish or possible repower on marlin under consideration for purchase. sailfish currently powered by 250 txrs. marlin powered by 225 txrs. I see 2017 xca (new) motors online at $12K each. will they work...

Greetings- cannot get the passenger side windshield wiper to make a clean sweep on my 282 Sailfish. Have replaced both blade and arm. blade assembly does not press firmly into glass. stronger spring? appreciate any ideas/suggestions.

got it figure out. isolator has a lockout feature that kicks in if battery voltage falls below 9.75. mine did, and hence, did not charge when motors were on. thanks for input on this thread!

right. believed to be a new problem, but the boat is new to me. will be looking at the isolator and wiring today (supposed to stop raining). previous owner did not have problem, but was always plugged in. no power in my slip in marina. batteries are new. further research today--will check back...

Hello-reading with interest these notes about Springfield flip seats. Interesting. Wanting to change the seats on my 28 Sailfish. Wonder if any of you know whether the footrest on the passenger seat will still be useable with the Springfield seats? Present seats installed before I got the boat...
