    Thanks. I will change the plugs in the spring from now on. On Friday I noticed that the effect can be instantaneous...we hit a wave and instantly the motor hesitated...no more than a fraction of a second after impact. And then it went right back on.

    I just read a post somewhere in which a guy had a similar problem and it was water in the VST. The water would get sucked up when he went over waves at high rpm. I guess this is another thing to look for.
