I'm with you Gary....I was expecting most to say they trolled 4-8 lines. I have a Marlin, and I can't imagine trolling 20 lines. I think it would take me at least an hour to get that many rigs in the water! I'm impressed gentlemen.....post some pictures if you have them!

You should be fine. The output from your charger is almost definitely higher than the draw from the refrigerator.

Gerrys, Great picture. How tall is the boat on the trailer? Where are your VHF, GPS, and radio antennas? I thought about buying a trailer for my boat, but I would have to remove to many things to keep the boat at a reasonable height.

Thanks for the reply. They must have changed things a bit over the years because mine is under the port seat according to my manual. Unfortunately, Grady didn't explain how it can be accessed. I need to get to it so I can drain it for the winter.

My boat is a 2000 Marlin. Like the title says, where is my water heater and how do I get to it? I believe it is under the port side seat, but I can't figure out how to get to it. Someone mentioned that they can access their 2002's via the port wall in the aft berth, but I did not see any...

You should be able to find replacement rings at your local hardware store.....maybe not a Home Depot, but a decent True Value (or equivalent). I replaced both of mine this year for about $2.00. My thought was that the O-rings were more to keep water out of the fuel than to keep gas and vapors in.

I have been extremely happy with my setup. The 2 12" displays are probably overkill for a Marlin, but I like it and it will probably help with resale down the road. The Raymarine equipment is fairly intuitive....not perfect, but better than a lot of systems out there. I have a Furuno...

If you are talking about it spitting water, it may be a stuck or sticky poppet valve. The poppet valve sits in between the V towards to bottom of the motor. There is a spring loaded valve that will cause water to spit out at idle when it is not operating correctly.
