hull is 16,000+ lbs wet without people. 250's will hurt on the cruise range. i had f350's with 4 blades, which, if asked, would be my recommendation. but, for the OP, you can deal with that at a future date as i posted before. good luck, ron
i use this in buff. https://www.westmarine.com/buy/west-marine--gel-coat-scratch-patch--P004_120_006_503?recordNum=5
clean it up and make sure it's dry. good luck, ron
someone i know has the DF350's used commercially. he's happy with them. my personal preference is more power (i had a 232 with twin F200's). i'd rather have more power and use less, than have less power and need more. just me. good luck with it. ron
my 2 cents. a thruster is a blessing on that hull. $$$$ for after build install (if you can get someone and the parts). genset $$$. cost me $3K to fix a panda with 60 hours on it. new outboards would cost, but you should have years on the 250's if they were serviced correctly. option 2...
as above if that works. if you need to adjust the sweep, ask GW what motor is in there and look up adjusting. had to do it on mine as the park was dead center of the helm sight line and the sweep was too narrow. running a small bead of caulk is not too difficult. good luck, ron
huh?? Grady shipped a boat without an engine and is relying on the dealer to install it later?? i guess their craftsmanship is getting worse than i thought.

i used something like this. but the 1.5 in ones and a lot cheaper in the old days (2 years ago?) good luck, ron
not for nothing, but the marina should have called you before they launched, unless they weren't going to charge you a haul out to fix the thruster if external issues were at play. ron
