I'm in process of having it done on my 192. I bought the seat and pedistal and my mechanic is installing it for me. I'll ask him what type of anchors he will be using and get back to you in a few days. I figured if my wife goes flying I can't be blamed, if I didn't do the install . Worth the price.

Yeah I'm a couple of hours away from home so using the gas outside the boat isn't a option. For $600 I thought it was a good option. Once the tanks are cleaned I plan on running it down to 1/4 tank, filling up and using the boat more this year now that in retired

Did they take your senders out and get to the bottom of the tank? The boat's in 88 and he said typically in his experience there'll be a gallon or so of sludge when they're done.

Gently tap it and rock back and forth as your pulling up. If that doesn't work you might have to release the spring if there's a spring there

I just replaced mine with Marinco 33010A wiper arm, deluxe stainless steel single 14"-20"adjustable $43.73 from Amazon and a Sea Dog 414216S-1 stainless steel wiper blade 16" silver from Walmart

I didn't top coat and seats are very soft

I used Rust-Oleum vinyl paint and could not have been happier, very supple. I replaced helm seat and port side seat so I went with bright white with the rest.

Since I repowered I don't even look at the gauge anymore. I just look at how many gallons I burned and I always fill it up when I burn half a tank. It's been accurate up to a gallon difference
