Do all the 265 express models from 2000 - 2005 have plastic headliners?

I looked at a 2000 265 express today. Clean boat but the cabins plastic headliner was cracked in several places. I inspected the hull, didn't see any damage. The only thing I can figure that did it was hull flex. It was cracked at the top entrance and over the bunk area. (really bad). Like...

Hey Tim. Good luck with the snow. Here on Long Island we are supposed to get some snow, but not as much as you. Is moving the scuppers the only thing that needs to be done to put 4-strokes on? Is it a big job to move the scuppers up a few inches? And what year 265's need to have this done...

gradyfish22 that was a great post. That really helped complete the different motor options. Your right, the hpdi's are a nice fit for the boat. I think the F-225 would be better just because of the oil factor, and better top speed. Also, with the engines so close to the fish deck, I could see...

Maybe the F-250's are not a good choice for the 265 express if you plan on doing off shore trips. I'm in the same range as you guys, coming from Long Island. I might not get back in with 250 4 strokes. and the OX66's 250 must be a joke when it comes to fuel range.

Also, the test with the 225's was with 160 gallons of fuel, 2 batteries, tools, safety gear and 3 people. 0-5 mph wind. Ice, full tank, bait etc, (normal off shore trips) the numbers will be change a great deal. But still excellent in my opinion.

Do you think there would be a noticeable difference between Yam F-225 and F-250's on the 265? I know someone selling one with new F-250's.

I'm going to checkout two 265 expresses this week. If I like the layout, I'll try and do a sea trial. From what I've heard on here and pictures, I think it will fit my bill for now and possible the next few years till I feel financially ready to make the move to the 330 express. I was at the...
