That one is awesome color hull! Is that the grady white blue from the pin striping? Looks pretty darn close.

    Complete Rewire Time

How long has it taken you to rewire a 190 tournament, or comparable boat? I recently purchased a 1985 year Tournament 190. The wiring behind the console is a rat's nest. The only gauges that work are the tach and engine temp. It looks to be mostly original wiring (lot of connections are corroded...

Look what I am bringing home!

Nice looking boat! I just purchased a 190 Tournament as my first GW, been about a week and a half and only been able to put it in the water once. This wind is killer down here. I put in by the high rise in Morehead the other day, got the stuffing beat out of me going through the turning basin...

Jeff_R thanks for the pictures, I'm glad I went with the wooden seats over the cushioned, they are used more for decoration/looks then usability for me. There won't be many times that I need that seat space. I got my bimini in the mail today and was quite pleased on how it went on. Was a quick...

SmokyMtn who is your brother? My girlfriend is going into her Senior Year in the ECU Engineering department. You can pm me if you don't want to give his name out on the forums.

    Just purchased a 228 !!!

Congrats on the purchase, Im down in Morehead City, but do a bit of commuting to Greenville, atleast 4 times a month. I just purchased a 190 Tournament and hit the water for this first time this afternoon. Handled amazing even with these nasty winds down here.

Trailer choices ( old question I guess )

I have a 19' Tournament sitting on an EZ=LOADER trailer. Took me about 3 minutes to put it on the trailer for the first time this afternoon (i'm used to my little tiller skiff) So I am not a complete newbie at trailering. It might be worth the look if there is a dealer in your area? *EDIT*...

Re: New to forum, new Grady White Owner! Thanks to some horrible weather all week, my maiden voyage was postponed 2 days. It was blowing 15-20 SSW with a 3-6 foot very choppy sea. The weather wasn't great but at least it wasn't storming. So put the boat in the water around 2:30 this afternoon...

    cranking battery or other battery?

Awesome! This is exactly what I needed to know. New radio came in today, already grabbed a new antenna that is mounted up (had an existing metal mount on the gunwale). I will tackle the wiring tomorrow if it finally stops raining. I swear we had no rain for months until I took delivery of this...

    cranking battery or other battery?

When installing fishfinder and vhf, do i wire it to my battery that cranks the outboard (only battery currently on boat) or do I wire it to its own battery?

Picked up a 1985 Tournament 190 this afternoon, found a great deal on it! It is in pretty good shape, minus a few cosmetic issues (wood trim needs restaining, hull needs a good scrubdown, etc). The previous owner put it in the water for a test ride yesterday, 2 hours in the local sound and it...
