    Has anyone replaced or re-covered the side panels or the helm glove box on a 226/228 seafarer? The vinyl looks pretty nasty from 1998 on mine.

    Window seals/gaskets 226/228

    Has anyone pulled the windshield from their 226/228 and replaced all the seals? Sources for rubber seals would be great! looks like Boat outfitters may have the main glass seals. but I can't find the wing window stuff at all. Want to fix this stuff while I have the transom being rebuilt...

    Core Replacement Guide?

    My 226 has a 56 gal. aux. tank in the forward hole. also a small fresh water tank between. I am doing a transom replace right now...those tank covers are a little soft on mine also. Gary

    The 9.9 Yamaha is a staple here in Puget Sound for Salmon fishing. You can expect a max throttle of around 6kts. and an idle speed around 0.5 or so. I had an 8hp on my 226 until it was borrowed by a tweeker. The 9.9 replacement has been excellent. I like the solid mount bracket over a lift...
