    Door latch problem Freedom 325

Picked up a new 325 Freedom about a month ago. Having the exact same issue. I also agree the door does not look like it was hung right at factory with regards to alignment. The boat is going in for 20 hour service next week and hopefully this (and a list of additional things) can get resolved...

    Freedom 325 Electronics Setup

Thanks for the great advice. I'll definitely get two and research the transducers.

    Freedom 325 Electronics Setup

We've got a 2023 325 on order for delivery the end of the year. Any thoughts on Garmin Chartplotters? It looks like I could get two Garmin 8616s for the price of one 8622. Would I be better off with the two 16s? Will be adding radar at a later date. Also any recommendations on transducers? I had...

Grady White Craziness on the Hull Truth...

I also bought from Byron at Quality in Clearwater John. Cannot say enough good things about both. Byron is amazing - really knows his stuff. We've got a 2004 Tournament 185 and love it. We bought three years ago after I had done a lot of research. We decided on Grady for a number of reasons -...

    180 Sportsman Power 115hp vs. 150hp

I bought a used Tournament 185 (same hull I believe) last year with a 115 on it. It will go 32-33 mph wide open with a full tank of gas and 4 of us on board which is fast enough for me. That said - if I do keep the boat and eventually replace the motor I think I would go with the 150. Gordon

    GPS Recommendation

Well - West Marine has the Garmin Oregon 400c on sale - $200 off. I just ordered one. http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/st ... RR_9924085 Could not resist the price! Figure I can always use as a backup when I have a mounted unit installed.

    GPS Recommendation

Thanks - that sounds like good advice. I like the Garmin 546/546s - the s model also has the transducer. https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=28973#gpsmap546 The screen does seem small though - will have to look at some larger models. Thanks again.

    GPS Recommendation

That is a great question I've been going back and forth on. I'm thinking portability. I could use it in my car, hiking, etc. I also have a small boat I use on Cape Cod. I've never used one there - know the areas I go very well - but think it would be a good idea to have one just in case. I...

    GPS Recommendation

I'm new to boating in the Clearwater Beach, Florida area and am looking at GPS's. Any advice? I'm considering a handheld - the Garmin Oregon 400c http://www.megagps.com/garminoregon400c ... 5QodABkKFg and considering the SW Florida g2 card http://www.megagps.com/bluechartg2visio ... s011r.aspx

Opinion: Drawstring Cover vs Snap cover - Tournament 185

Thanks for the feedback. I bought the boat from a dealer in Clearwater, FL who was selling it for a guy. I had been looking for about 6 months and was ready to give up on a Grady because I could not find one in my price range. We were in Florida over the holidays and this one came up on...

Opinion: Drawstring Cover vs Snap cover - Tournament 185

Thanks Parthery and Chris - this is great feedback. A local canvas shop wants about $1300 for a custom cover whether it be snap or drawstring. Gordon
