    Repower 330 Express

Resting the engines up and full to port (as you did) is the way to go. Turning them to starboard works but port is much easier on the rigging tubes. The issue with the swim ladder can be solved by removing it off the transom and stowing inside your cabin somewhere convenient.

    head odor and potential mod

Hookup has it right. All heads that use saltwater will smell. Freshwater heads don't. It's that simple.

    Electric Steering Upgrade and Autopilot

First off - I would totally add an Autopilot. I'd go out without life jackets before an Autopilot! Not sure about your question but if you're asking about adding an electric assist pump to your hydraulic steering I will say this: Most boats that have electric assist pumps plumbed into their...

Delamination port side - down to bottom paint

If in step 5 you mean that the original cut out is reused, that doesn't work. It is difficult to get the outer skin fully adhered to the new coring and flat as well without voids. The outer layer should be remade with laid up fiberglass. sanded, faired, and gel coated. In addition, the seam...

Delamination port side - down to bottom paint

I would think the right way to tackle this is to have the boat taken to a yard that has a good Fiberglass Guy willing to tackle such a project. As stated, this is not a "DIY" style project. And drilling a bunch of holes and inserting foam or epoxy will accomplish nothing since the bad, wet...

Delamination port side - down to bottom paint

I think this is a common issue. The question is HOW does one inject foam or go about strengthening these areas? Maybe drill holes from the INSIDE and inject? Curious...

    long-haul tow Marlin 300

You could assign it to a Trucker who does this for a living. I used UShip.com to move a 265 (Florida to California) on it's own trailer years ago and had good luck.

    Prop Options for 330

Only thing I would add, is on take off, I keep the engines trimmed at like zero to 5%. Once the boat is up on plane, I trim the engines up to about 33% or so. Doing this is no different than what a pilot routinely does with wing flaps on take off. I think the only drawback of the 3 Vs. 4...

    Prop Options for 330

"My question, is there anything better" My answer: No. I repowered my 2006 330 as well. Went from F250's to F300's. Like you, I tried the props from my 250's on the 300's. They did fine except the top end was lacking. I could only reach about 5,600 RPM's WOT. These were 17 pitch 4 blades...

    228 Seafarer to a 258 Journey?

"Those with 258's, please chime in and thoughts from others would be welcomed." I spent alot of time on a close friend's 258 (w twin 150 two strokes). Hull was a year 2000 if that matters. Worst riding GW I have ever been on (my personal experience so no hard feeling to others out there). I...

    Deck Material, what's your choice?

I'm not a fan of any deck material. My 330 is in the elements 12 months a year and that stuff just fades and breaks down. And it is super hard to remove. Research it well before buying and installing. If you can keep the sun and weather off it, it may last longer.
