As it relates to kicker connection to main motor, Im in the same situation with my 2006 208 Adventure and Yamaha 9.9 kicker mounted on a fixed mount. There is not enough clearance for the Seastar kicker cable, which would be my preference by far. The Seastar works OK but is a pain in the butt...

I mocked it up and there is a little overhang on either side of the gunnel. I assume this is to be expected? Is a little visually displeasing i gotta say but relative to the $690 price tag of the burnewiin i think I can live with it.

Ive recently taken ownership to a 2006 208 adventure. Very excited. I am a scotty downrigger user and would like to understand what mounting is recommended. I have ruled out the rod holder/gimbal mount and am curious if folks have experience with the 1036 mounting plate through the gunnel cap...
