I was hoping someone has installed trim tabs on a GW Seafarer and could help me in the placement of the tabs. I have seen other installs where they say 3 to 4 inches from the edge of the boat, but these boats don't have the hull design as the GW.
Thanks for any advise, John
I just finished up installing a Ramp N Clamp to my trailer, where I keep my 1992 Seafarer 22. I also installed steps so I can get on my boat's bow after putting it in the water. I will testing this out next week and was wondering if anyone else has used this Ram N Clamp on their boat. Cheers
My Seafarer is a 1992 and is in great shape, but even though I have had no issues with the fuel tank, I plan on opening the floor up and inspecting, and or replacing the tank. I was wondering if anyone has replaced a fuel tank on one of these boats? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
My 1992 GW Seafarer has a Richie HF-73 Compass that lost all it's fluid. I'm repairing it with new fluid but the light stopped working. I have looked all over for a replacement, but can't find one. Does anyone know where I could get one or a similar one to use?
The hatch door is reinforced with 3x5 inch straps. The Windlass is mounted on a 6x18x1/2 inch sheet of heavy duty plexiglass and that is mounted to the bow of the boat and the anchor hatch.
I tried that but it the flap still sticks out. I ended up grinding down the brass that was sticking out just a bit. The flap still sticks out a tiny bit, but If I'm not mistaken, don't the all stick out a bit? Or should they lay completely flat?
I bought 4 new scuppers from Amazon and they fit perfect. My only problem is that on of the flaps won't close because the inner brass tube protrudes out to much. I saw a link how to replace the tubes so I think I will try this out.
Thanks for all the information.
