    Trolling motor on 232 Gulfstream

I have a new Gulfstream and am thinking about installing a trolling motor to hold the boat in place over wrecks. Anchoring is a pain and I don't want to lose an anchor and line. Has anyone installed a trolling motor on this model and if so where did you store the battery(s)? I am thinking...

    Chesapeake 290 Generator Install

If you have not purchased a generator my buddy has a brand new one. He bought one 6 months ago for his GW 33 Express and found out his old one was repairable. Now he has a new one sitting in the box he would be willing to sell at discount. Not sure of size but if interested can find out for...

running transducer cable 2024 232 Gulfstream

My owners manual is lacking. My last boat was the 285 Freedom, 2015, that came with great diagrams. This new manual is worthless. I did use the larger tube and ran a fish tape and line through and tied off waiting for when I mount the transducer. I will check power feed to upper fuse...

running transducer cable 2024 232 Gulfstream

I am installing all my accessories to my new Grady. Can anyone tell me how to run the transducer cable to the front? I have found two tubes on starboard but they are 80% full of cables. Is there a dedicated empty tube or do I just snake it up one of the semi-full tubes? Either one? How...

    trailer set up

Dogdoc, Good advice from Coastboater in the above post. For a short haul you should not have any problems. Not applicable in your case but those who do trailer long distance might benefit from this article. https://www.proptalk.com/trailering-your-boat-long-haul One item to think about is...

    Wanted 232 Gulfstream

Thanks SoFLGrady. Sold my 285 Grady last fall and want something smaller not larger. Larger is comfortable offshore but more to trailer, launch and take care of. I want a smaller boat that is easier to handle solo for someone who is closer to 70 than he cares to admit. The 232 fits the...

    Wanted 232 Gulfstream

Thanks Mustang. I like it except I really am holding out for twins. Many of my trips will be from Florida to Abaco and Ocean City, MD out to the Canyons. (65 miles +) Twins will work much better for what I want and what my insurance company requires. I do like the price on this one.

    Wanted 232 Gulfstream

Thanks for the link! much appreciated. A little too far, (I'm in Baltimore), a little too much money for the year and hours, too many hours, (I'm looking for under 750 hours), and really want 2006 or later as the transom went through a big change that is a huge improvement. But appreciate...

    Wanted 232 Gulfstream

I am always amazed at how good boats look in advertisements. There are some excellent photographers around. Glad I am not in a hurry. One will turn up.

We are new Grady White owners. We bought a 1978 Nassau 212-C.

Thanks! Great trip though the boat was a little small for a 200-mile run to Abaco. I sold the boat after three years and three crossings but kept the steering wheel as I liked it. These were great looking boats.
