Cleaned the caulking on my deck with Soft Scrub with bleach - worked amazingly well!

I keep a few bottles of that on the boat and use a few times a season as a deep clean, on deck and under gunnel on sides, never on waxed areas. I let sit about an hour or so never thought about overnight might need to give that a try

    Broken Bait Station Drain

I think you are correct two pieces, I think it is also straight, the piece that broke may still be in the hose underneath, that was a second issue to me working on the oil. I really think it is a through hole connector type it looks in my old photo to have a notch in the plastic? I will update...

    Broken Bait Station Drain

Good day, I have a 2002 282 Sailfish with dual sink on port side at stern, one I guess is considered a bait holding area with drain. I was having some oil tank troubles and to clearly see everything I needed to remove the battery switch box and also cut caulk and pull the sinks. Anyhow I...

    Broken Sink Bait Station

Good day, I have a 2002 282 Sailfish with dual sink on port side at stern. I was having some oil tank troubles and to clearly see everything I needed to remove the battery switch box and also cut caulk and pull the sinks. Anyhow I inadvertently damaged one of the sinks. There are two drain hoses...

To fat or bad design? Maybe Both!

5 years into owning my 2002 282 Sailfish I have come to the conclusion the Pilot & Co Pilot Or Captains chair and my wife chair are to close together. Every time we move from stern of boat up the step and pass through going to the galley or to be in the helm area we get caught on the arm rest...

    282 sailfish microwave area

My port window has been leaking for a few years during rain, same spot and now the top shelf has rot. I'm not happy, I tried to have my Grady White dealer fix it they say the boat is to old, its a 2002 sailfish. They suggested i seal it shut I dont want to do that. I think the gasket may just be...

    2003 282 Windlass Question

I added a new anchor 16.5 lbs and a swivel. The twist seems to have corrected it self, test in the wind and tide the new anchor holds good. Still will not drop without a push, the rubber roller works fine, I tried playing out a few inches hoping it would drop prior to getting in location but...

Do I suck or is it my boat?

So I have been trying various scenarios while on vacation. Keeping the bow down is some situations in stead of trimming up a bit seem to help. I think I may have been over trimming out the motors brining the bow up too high. And I assuming you are suggesting in a head sea use trim tabs a tad to...
