Faint smell of gas after re-fueling. Primarily in front accces plate area where filler and vent lines are. Boat is 2002. Perhaps new lines are in order as permeation maybe occuring?

Does anyone know how to clear the fuel vent line on a combination fuel/vent filling neck. It seems as if the venting takes place through small holes built into the combo unit and that the cap somehow allows for venting when closed. Trying not to pull the vent from the tank end if I dont have...
