like my previous post about batteries(which worked out great thanks to you all)I don't recall the direction this seal goes in. Its the exhaust seal between lower and upper unit.One side has a groove in it other side is tapered.Im thinking tapered side goes down towards prop.Interesting thing is...

its 2000 265 express twin yamaha looks like batteries were connected together.just want to make sure this is correct.Dont have grady manual.Do have switch on/off 1,2 both

i didn't take note of previous hook up before I removed them so I need some help.replacing batteries on a dual battery setup.I know the negative terminals are connected with a jumper are the positive connected as well.If not I have a red wire that Im not sure where it goes Thanks

Definately not doing the hack.I borrowed a puller and will give it a shot.If i cant get it i will take it to a shop.Thanks for the replys.

Need to replace prop shaft seal.Looking for tips to remove the nut to access the seal.Checked online looks like I need a special tool.As always thanks for the help. Sorry about the bad picture.

One of my first experiences with this forum involved a project(scupper hose replacement)and the advice i received was tremendous(especially skunkboat)So as he said lets just have fun with this and those windmill #s will be in my gps as well.
