Can't really go wrong with the Suzuki's. Price,Power,Reliable..Just re-powered My 226 with a DF-250 AP and really like it.

Just had a Aux. Coast Guard Safety Inspection yesterday. Do it every year. Always have more than basic requirements.

If it's the original steering,I'd bite the Bullet and replace it..Helm and Cylinder.. I have a 2005...Rebuilt the Helm,then the Cylinder went..Had a small spot in the cylinder that would bypass fluid..Don't play around with the Steering,Bad things can happen if there is a malfunction at the...

Just repowered My 2005 226 with a DF-250AP...Had the Old F-225 mounted all the way up on the Transom...43 plus MPH,one time 44.3 mph.So far with the new Engine,have 12 hrs. on it....just shy of 46MPH @6K rpms.

Don't know about the Yamaha Props. But the Mercury Rev-4 will do what You want and they are great props.! They give Stern lift and You will be able to stay on Plane at a lower rpm.

Going with the DF250 AP? I will be there Friday dropping off My Boat.. :D

Have a 2005 226 Seafarer..I need to replace the Hinges for the Electronics Box Doors and the Console Do Anyone know the part numbers and/or Manufacturer?

Looks neat. BUT,I don't think the Durability is there,going to eventually break something in the Bimini.Trolling Rods would kill it for sure.Light Tackle Rods You may be able to get away with. Next problem I see,While running ,the Bimini is going to be top heavy and shake.Sooner or later it will...

It should be double nutted.You may be tightening one nut against the other and not getting the nut that actually tightens the cleat down tight.

What is Your top end with the Suzuki? Do You have a hard Top and Curtains also? Thanks.

Can't help Ya' with Your set-up exactly...I have a 2005 226 with a F-225.Have the Engine raised all the way up,running a Mercury Enertia Prop. [17"]..Hard Top and Curtains up....44 mph on GPS top end..Was around 39 to 42 with other Props I tried.
