    Kicker on 255?

I have a 1997 voyager with 250 ox yamaha and a 9.9 yamaha high thrust kicker ( 1997) I use it mainly for an insurance policy if the big motor quits. I have used the engine on harbor tours and it gets the boat up to 6 or 7 knots in smooth water and or one foot waves--I have not used in bigger...

What a difference an 02 Sensor can make!! (250OX66)

I have an 250 ox66 on a voyager 24. and the service dealer (Grady) has cleaned the oxygen sensor. I am not so technical but I gather that it is important to change the sensor rather that just clean it at certain times ? So how do you know when to clean vs. replace and what is cost--i remember...

    Winter storage question

Another trick I have heard about (when an inch or two makes a differance) is letting some air out of the tires of the vehicle or trailer. years ago someone told me they were able to get a delivery truck inside a storage entrance by deflating the tires by half way. Lew :bang

predicting good sea conditions in block is sound

Thanks for the info. I have been viewing the sites and forecasts and they are very helpful. From Montauk it seems that the most advantageous (smaller waves) route back to buzzards bay would be the longer route of going north to the Conn/RI shore and then east along the coast to buzzards bay. :hmm

predicting good sea conditions in block is sound

Thanks this is a great web site -Also I have been monitoring the dial a buoy at Block Island. This aft. they had 5.8 ft waves every 11 seconds. We do not get much of that in Mass. Bay. This sounds like a off shore ocean swell-and the wind and waves were pretty much from the same direction. I...

    Pricing on a 2003 GW 225 Tournament?

So, unless I am too sleepy I did not see what you said the asking price was. That will be a key determinant; in the sense that fair market value is at the cross section of what a willing buyer and seller are willing to settle for. There are dealer stats that can be obtained that shows actual...

9.9 yamaha kicker water flow interuption

I have a 1997 voyage with a 0x66 250 and a 9.9 4strole yamaha kicker that I have been using more latley. I like the gas mileage and quiteness for harbor tours and watching sailboat races. I used the motor for about 4hrs. today and it stopped peeing (water flow) It has happened before and I was...
