Let's do it. I usually launch out of Ventura to the Channel Islands and do overnighters. Can't wait for White Sea Bass and the squid soon. Sometimes trailer south for the tuna bite. I heard there is squid at Clemente Island already.

Looks clean Goose, I just ordered the same one for my 282 Sailfish. Im considering going with (3) Battle Born 12v 100ah. What batteries did you go with and how many hours does it run on the average? Thanks

Lithium iron as oppose to lithium ion. Batteries have been in bass boats for years , not too worried about it. Fires are due to poor workmanship.

Looking to pick up (1) 36v 100amp lithium iron battery or (3) 12v 80 amp batteries. Pro and cons?

Just ordered the Rhodan 36v 96" for my Sailfish 282. Ready for the game changer. I was thinking about getting a (1) 36v 100amp lithium iron battery or (3) 12v 80 amp batteries. Pros and cons, weight and power. What has worked best for others? Post some pics. Thanks

Lumitec are super bright. One time purchase, last the life of the boat. Very easy install.

My 282 Sailfish is my first Grady White. Picked it up on Ebay from the east coast to the west coast. Just installed twin 250's and I couldn't be happier. You won't be disappointed any way you go.

I know that there is another thread regarding props. I just didn't want to interfere with original thread. I have a 2001 282 Sailfish that has twin Yamaha 200 2 stroke with a 4 blade props (OFS4R14PCL200) 15 1/4" diameter x 14 pitch. I replaced the original 3 blade props awhile back because...

Sweet boat. I just purchased the same boat, same year this summer. Upgraded all the electronics to Furuno. Getting ready to repower. Removing the 2 strokes and installing Yamaha 4.2 250s. If you have any questions or anything I can help you with, ask away.

Check out my avatar. Radar is on the lower front section of the top. I also have a satellite compass antenna (SCX- 20) behind it. Radar works perfect all the way around.

Cut the rope the securing it place, remove , clean and re-string with new rope. Just did mine last week. looks like new

Radar and AIS a must. I always run my radar overlay on the map. I would not leave the dock without it. Busy freighter lane in between the Channel Island and the fog gets super thick. It's really worth the comfort safety.
