I had twin 200's on my 272 it ran great. Like above no speed demon but plenty of power.

I had the fuel injected ox66 on my 01' never had a problem. The boat was great but I would definitely be concerned with water intrusion on something that old.

Most of the journey's I've seen listed come with a 250hp instead of twins. Been on several never ridden in one. The gulfie will do a little better then your numbers posted above with 150's

My first boat was a 208 then a 272 and now a 232, all cabin boats. As stated above it's nice to have a decent head, a place to nap but especially a place to change. After a swim I'm in the cabin changing into dry clothes. I think getting something large then the 208 would be a huge upgrade not...

I think you might find that boat to be an aberration rather than a reference point. . Having looked at the 232 for years that boat was priced REALLY LOW.

The boat your looking at is high. The one in Naples is very low if legit. Would jump on that if still available

232 feels a lot bigger than the258. Larger more functional cabin

There has been a ton of bad reviews on this motor The Gulfstream i purchased had a 350 factory installed i purchased it used with repower. Evidently the previous owner killed 350 with less than 150 hours

I had twin 200 hpdi on mine plenty of power. Topped out at about 45 mph

Good luck I think you will be happy with either. Will tell you the 232 will feel quite a bit bigger than the 258. I would also consider the 265

Towing capacity of the Tundra is around 9,500. Not sure what the total weight of the boat and trailer is, I have a single yahmaha 300. I really don't feel like towing it is a big deal at all, although I mostly tow it around town. I do wish sometimes I had a bigger vehicle when I'm unloading it...

I Tow mine all the time with a Tundra. I know its back there but you get used to it. Some of the ramps in my area are more challenging than the towing. No one bothers me about the width.
