The props are correct and recent compression tests are good. I assume it is not enough trim, wings and algae growth, but that is why I am curious what trim other 271 owners need to get 6000 rpms.

I recently purchased a used 271 and overall I feel it is a good ride. It is really a big 27 footer and the beam is great. I think wings are a good addition as you can get some spray depending on the wind. One thing I noticed is I have trouble getting the boat to rev to 6000 RPM. Not sure if...
