One final thing to take a gander at( not trying to be a buzz kill but hate giving the highway enforcement branch any more of our fishing budget than required lol) is your combined length on the RV/Boat trailer.. they vary state to state ...most are around 70' but some are less.

Does anyone have recommendations for aftermarket decals for sprucing up my 05 225 cowlings? Would like some that are quality for wear and tear. Getting ready to paint....

Congrats...I only have two bottom fishing trips under my belt but I could see fish in holes on the bottom around 150 feet... Love it.

Yeah... By God's grace I dodged the bullet on my starboard. Apparently not every tube was made of the suspect alloy. This why some go a normal life while others fail. Chris Burleson ( who has been a 5 star Yamaha guy for decades) says he has done tuners with low hours that were bad. Others...

'05 motors on '05 282.. Shed /boatel kept it's whole life in Panama City. Rinsed after every use. All the damage in the exhaust tubes occurred from exhaust side not saltwater side.

The ducer is 42 inches from the outside rear transom forward and 22 inches from the port edge towards the center keel.

I hear what you're saying, but I don't think the heads are a concern..(as long the tube corrosion has not infiltrated to the head). As corroded as the starboard exhaust was on mine the head side was fine. I'm not aware of any other issue on those motors that has to do with inferior quality...

Okay...I can't get my phone to load any more pics. This hatch is on the rear port side of an 05 282 Sailfish. The through Hull ducer B175 HW 20 is mounted just forward of the fuel filter you see. It took a 3 3/4" inch hole. The hole was Placed 22inches from the port bottom outside edge and...
