    Rocket Launcher with Sunshade

The pic I posted above is GW Performance Welding although that's not my boat - just an application of rocket launcher with retractable sunshade. GW made a rocket launcher for my Gulfstream and yes, they were great!

Extra rod holders on a Grady White 307 Freedom

Something like this work with your sunshade? (GWPerformanceWelding.com)

Would you avoid a mid 90s Grady White in the 2020s?

My only question then is... does she have a sister? :D

    Hatch gas struts

The struts on my livewell lid and fishbox lid are 60 lbs - I accidentally replaced with 40 lb struts and they sucked so replaced those with the correct original 60 lb struts.

    Grady rod holder

A quick google search for "rod holder drain cap" shows a ton of options. Just measure the Outside Diameter of the rod tube to know which fit and you should be good to go - reasonably priced as well.

You can afford one of those?!

    2000 Marlin

Stang - you've been ID'ing them wrong for 30 years then - but that's not the point. I can tell it's a chinook from just a glance without even looking at the gumline. A few giveaways are the greenish color to the back (silvers are nicknamed Bluebacks in BC), the shape of the spots on it's back...

    2000 Marlin

Lookie, Lookie it's a Nookie (i.e. Chinook - both of them). No use crying over grilled salmon but just be careful with your fish ID's in the future or you may quickly become friends with an over-zealous game warden ;)

91 Tournament 22 w/ Grady Drive - What to Look for w/ Transom

Water in the Grady Drive bracket is not necessarily a problem - just need to replace the caulk between the bracket and the transom. 4200 UV works great for this. Otherwise a fresh o-ring in the inspection plate and the drain plug and you're good as new with the bracket. Mine was filling up and...

    Life Ring Buoy Mounts

I haver a ring buoy with an attached throw bag to that so I can both throw a life-saving floating device AND retrieve the person or retrieve the buoy for a better throw. Also, once the buoy is out there on the end of a rope you can navigate your vessel to pull the buoy to the MOB much as you...

Yamaha 175 2stroke- Hard to start.

The good news is it runs great once started! Sticky choke is not uncommon and before doing a full rebuild on the carb I'd work the choke valves back and forth quite a bit with a liberal dousing of WD40 or similar. Your problem may be as simple to solve as that unless the aforementioned automatic...

Possible rotted tank or rotted fill hose.

Not sure how big your original fuel tank is but you'll be loosing some low-down ballast by moving the fuel weight up onto deck.

Repower for our 2001 Express 275

"The brochures are a wealth of information..." As are you Mustang. A semi-retirement idea would be a research service for boat brokers and insurers

Repower for our 2001 Express 275

Mustang - very cool to have a car you had as a teen! And, for the record, this is just off-season banter with no offense meant nor taken. That said, the correlation with the example would be knowing what kind of fuel the motor takes. Just like you'd know if you put gas or diesel in your car (or...
