The struts on my livewell lid and fishbox lid are 60 lbs - I accidentally replaced with 40 lb struts and they sucked so replaced those with the correct original 60 lb struts.

A quick google search for "rod holder drain cap" shows a ton of options. Just measure the Outside Diameter of the rod tube to know which fit and you should be good to go - reasonably priced as well.

Water in the Grady Drive bracket is not necessarily a problem - just need to replace the caulk between the bracket and the transom. 4200 UV works great for this. Otherwise a fresh o-ring in the inspection plate and the drain plug and you're good as new with the bracket. Mine was filling up and...

The good news is it runs great once started! Sticky choke is not uncommon and before doing a full rebuild on the carb I'd work the choke valves back and forth quite a bit with a liberal dousing of WD40 or similar. Not sure how big your original fuel tank is but you'll be loosing some low-down ballast by moving the fuel weight up onto deck.
