    Did this same job in my 79 Overnighter. The floor rotted out from below - it appreaerd to never have been sealed below decks. I took marine PW, glassed it both sides then installed it c/ glass around all exposed edges. Followed that c/ marine grade carpet. While I was at it I put new seat posts...

    repower my 1998 208

    I am re-powering with a 150 Suzuki 4 stroke. Total cost with new gauges, controls, electricals and labor looks to be around $13K. Plenty of power, correct weight, etc, Removing a 1986 Johnson 140. Poor ol' thing won't steer right anymore and repair to core is more than the motor is worth.

    The stanchion bases supporting the bow rail on my 79, 20' Overnighter are corroded and cracking. I plan to remove the old bases and replace them as it is now unsafe. A body hitting it hard will cause it to fail. The rail itself, uprights and connectors are fine. There is no way to access the...
