I think you are overthinking the listing. I think it’s the batteries and the captain standing on the starboard when on board. In your earlier message you said 4-5” lower on the starboard. From this picture it looks like 1”. It’s not a bad thing to make sure your through hulls are sealed well...

I think you just want to spray with wd40 periodically (or similar). Perhaps you can wrap a paper towel around some of your tools that are more at risk (if they still fit in your tool boxes with the paper towel) and then apply wd40. I’m not sure you want your tools full sealed in. I think...

Post some pictures if you can. Many of the brackets will have more than 4 holes to allow for adjustment up or down. Is that the case with your bracket? have you installed yet?

Does your horn work? In Massachusetts, vessels of 26 feet or more in length are required to carry both a bell and a whistle or horn that are audible for at least one-half mile. This requirement applies to all motorboats of class 2 or 3, according to Mass. General Laws c.90B § 5.
