I have to admit getting the tank out is not that big of a deal probably take ya about 45 min to an hr. I would pull it and inspect. I had a buddy pressure test and it was fine. Then after a couple trips off shore it cracked and i had fuel in the bilge. i would definitely visually inspect.

I replaced mine in my 24 offshore. I had a metal fabricator build my tank for approx $800. I cleaned it applied marine epoxy then foamed it in. Total for the job was around $1200 90 gal tank. The labor was on me!!!

Dennis you are on point!!!! I had to replace all my through hulls on my 24 offshore and it was a job!!! some were easy some were totally by feel while others took the hole saw. I wish I could give some better advise but the simple fact is those hoses and scuppers were installed at manufacturing...

I too do a lot of bottom fishing in NC and I observed a 29ftCC Sea Hunt deploy one a few weeks ago. I thought to myself how cool it would make things lots easier but when u figure in cost of the unit, batteries, and install. "That's a lot of money".

I to researched the whole prop thing this spring and had similar numbers with a single Yamaha 250. I am currently running a 24ft grady offshore and feel your pain...... My cousin fishes out of lower Alabama and is a pro staff for power-tech props. He told me to call them with my performance...

I would like to hear your feed back when you do your ocean test. I'm thinking you should plane out and be able to cruise at slower speed therefore saving fuel. Please shoot us an update after your sea trial........Thanks

Just an alternative,but i did away with the shocks and used the SS spring lid support. They were a bit cheaper and last longer. Just a thought to throw out there.......

What size prop are you running KY Grady, I have a 14.25X19 to try this weekend. Do you think ill be in the ball park.
