I have a 248 voyager that had the same problem. However I went to the dreaded west marine and picked up some hydrolic arms and installed , now you have to put some effort into shutting them.

What kind of number would you put on the whole rig, I know the carbed motors are old technology, just trying to get others opinions on it. Also really looking at a 247 advance cc in nc. Wife and I are looking at moving back into a cc with our young son who doesn't really need the cabin anymore...

Hi Im new to the site, I have a 96 248 voyager with 96 ocean pros on it with an estimated 780 hours on them now, it also sits on a 2001 loadrite trailer. I have been entertaining the thought of selling it for either a 263 chase or 247 advance. Just curious if I were to sell it what should I ask...
