    WTB Grady White 265 , 282 or 300.

That stinks. Was boat advertised like the usual “excellent condition “ “mint” ? 265 is great design but unfortunately the last ones are already 16 years old. The ones that are truly in VG condition are rare to come into the market. Good luck in your search.

Gulfstream Year Questions - Transom Seat

Changed the design in 06. I had a 2000 and configuration was way better in my opinion. The new setup makes it almost impossible to get a fish around the motors.

    Lower unit stand

I just cut a piece of 1/2" plywood 3'x3' and cut a notch same shape but smaller than cavitation plate. I use two portable horses to rest the plywood. I can easily store that flat piece of plywood when i'm not using it in season. Works very well for what i need it for which is changing my water...

    shrink rap or not

I used to shrink wrap my Grady every year and in spring I would cut wrap off and throw it in container. Friend use to cut wrap off and store it and reuse it at least another season or 2. Then I went the large tarp and frame. It wasn't bad but every once in a while I would have to adjust tarp and...

    Yamaha Dealer or not

If you want your warranty to cover them I think it requires service from authorized Yamaha rep? Look into that before you have someone other than Yamaha do work on them.

    Looking at 05 282 sailfish

2 of their best models no longer being made but in the most demand...265 & 282.. Nothing between the 25 and 29 both of which are not offshore fishing boats more of family inshore type. The 29 and above are exponentially a lot more to run and maintain which cuts out a lot of us. Really can't...

Roller disappeared, damage done, and an uncaring marina

Deep Creek on Brielle Rd is very nice ramp. Owner Frank is very nice guy. I think they open @6:00 am. i keep my boat on glimmer glass and use the ramp to haul in and out in spring and fall. If your looking for slip on glimmer glass the one next to me just opened up and it's very nice spot...

How Do You Gents Replace Your Fuel Water Separator? Yamaha

Re: How Do You Gents Replace Your Fuel Water Separator? Yama You can pour some fresh gas into new one it will save you some pumping of bulb otherwise just pump it slowly and you'll hear it filling up. The paint on filter mount is cosmetic and not much you can do cause of the dampness and...

    Radar

Hi If you want it to display on chart plotter you will need radar to match chart plotter so you can network the 2. As far as using it during the day you never know when fog will roll in and you'll be glad you have it. Still have to remember just cause you have it doesn't mean you can run like...

    232 vs 265 express

Cant comment on the 265 but I owned a 232 and have to say it was a great boat. Took it offshore (60+) and always felt safe and comfortable. I fished regularly in some conditions that weren't the most favorable and always felt comfortable. Boat was very dry and very stable at drift. If I could've...

    Can't stop my wiper motor!

Had the same thing happen on mine. I took motor apart and where the contacts are there was build up from the brushes that was making a continuos connection between park and wipe. I cleaned it p put new dielectric grease and was as good as new. In the mean time pull off the leads to wiper motor...
