    HPDI Issue

O2 sensor Thanks for all the great input. Turned out to be the O2 sensor and the tube. Cleaned them both. Also had fouled plugs on that engine only with only 10 hours of use. But... I put these plugs in after using an additive to help clean out carbon build up. This may be the carbon and junk...

    HPDI Issue

I have twin 200 HPDIs on my 252. In the last 5 months, I've only run the boat at low rpms on a hose (live in FL). The last time I had the boat out, the engines did fine. This past weekend, engines ran fine at idle and low rpms. When I tried to get on plane, one engine stopped responding to...

NEED AN EXPERT ON FUEL GAUGE

Similar Sender Problem Had a similar problem. Had new wiring, new sender, new gauge, clean tank. Gauge worked, but read near empty. Ended up that sender float was hitting baffle in tank. It hit because I rotated the sender unit to make the holes line up. Didn't remember about the location of...

    Engine Height & Prop Pitch

I have a 1990 252 sailfish (bracket) with twin 200 Yamaha HPDI's. The engines did not come with the boat. Since the engines are on a Grady Bracket, I'm wondering how high to mount them. I understand where to mount when they are on the transom. I'm thinking they should mount slightly higher...

    Bow to Stern Drain Pipe??

Members were very helpful with my 1st question. Thought I would try it again. :D 1990 GW 252. The manual shows a one piece bow to stern PVC drain pipe, about 3/4". I think that I found the front end of the pipe under the mount for the shower pump in the forward bilge. The back end comes...

    Getting to Shower Pump

Pump Found Thanks greatly to all. Removed the forward bilge lid and there it was... Just like you said :D . Hard to see thru the access port. But now that I know exactly where it is, I think that I can test both float switches thru the port. Thanks again.

    Getting to Shower Pump

BobP, I have not removed the forward bilge deck lid yet. I did remove the access port and only saw the bilge pump. Maybe it's hiding in there. The shower sump pump isn't under the shower floor? Thanks

    Getting to Shower Pump

I have a 1990 GW 252. Anyone know how to access the shower pump. I see the hose coming through the bulkhead adjacent to the shower. I am assuming that there is a pump down there since the hose goes up to the thru-hull. Don't know if it makes a difference, but I have a porta-potty, not a...

    Trailer Set-up for GW252

Help no longer needed Well, I drove 45 minutes to a Grady dealer and found a similar hull on a rack. Was able to make the measurements that I needed. Used Trig for the rest. I would have thought someone on the site had an older Grady sitting on a trailer.

    Trailer Set-up for GW252

Anyone have a 1988-1991 sailfish that sits on a trailer? I bought a used trailer and I'm trying to modify the bunks (if necessary) to fit a 1990 GW 252. The trailer was set up for a 1993 GW25, but that has the newer SV2 hull. I need to know the distance from outside to outside of the strake...
